Welcome to WIKI!

Break Down Words,
Break Through Barriers!

At WIKI, we believe that literacy is the key to unlocking a world of possibilities for every student. The WIKI Way is designed to help students build confidence and succeed in reading, spelling, and comprehension - skills that last a lifetime.

Unlock Your Students' Literacy Potential with WIKI Build!

Developed by FCAT, the heart of our programme revolves around the WIKI Bookmark, a bespoke, student-friendly, printed resource, which provides students with the most common prefixes, roots, and suffixes found in academic vocabulary.

WIKI Build is a proven literacy intervention that helps students decode, spell, and comprehend new vocabulary through a structured approach. Research shows that 60% of English words have Greek or Latin origins, rising to over 90% in science and technology-based vocabulary. By mastering these fundamental building blocks, students can decode complex words with ease and become independent, confident readers across all subjects.
